"Attending the International Conference on Cybersecurity: A Journey of Learning and Growth"

Last year, I had the opportunity to attend the 3 days International Conference on Cybersecurity, a prestigious gathering of experts and thought leaders in the field. The conference took place in Goa (Experiencing the beauty and joy of Goa) and brought together professionals from around the world to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and solutions in cybersecurity. The conference lasted three days and was held at the International Centre in Goa. It featured several tracks on drone hacking and cybersecurity.

What is seasides? It was a three-day international conference held in Goa with the goal of inspiring individuals interested in cybersecurity through workshops, and those who want to learn and upskill.

My motivation for attending

I've always had a strong interest in communities and giving back to events, so attending the conference was driven by my desire to increase my knowledge and connect with individuals who share my enthusiasm for cybersecurity. I was also interested in finding out more about the most recent developments in the industry and how I might use them in my future profession. Attending conferences is a terrific way, in my opinion, to harness the power of communities. It's an opportunity to interact with others who are passionate about the same things you are, to share knowledge, and to collaborate on fantastic projects. I try to attend conferences and events as much as I can because of this.

How I Got a Scholarship: Tips and Insights for Students

To attend the conference, I applied for a scholarship and was thrilled to receive it. Amazingly, so many students want to know how I learned about all these opportunities, so I usually answer, "Your network is your net worth - creating relationships can help you open opportunities, develop new views, and achieve your goals. You might be wondering, "How do I make connections?" Don't worry, I'll discuss this subject in my following blog. Let's get to the subject now. As a student who was unable to afford to attend a conference in Goa, I was constantly active and kept watching their website and Twitter for such an opportunity. Since I was a student and couldn't afford to travel to Goa for a conference, I finally learned about the scholarship through Twitter and applied right away and was able to attend the conference and take part in the various sessions and events thanks to the scholarship. It was difficult to be ready for the conference, but I was determined to take advantage of the chance. I devoted a significant amount of time to reading publications and reports on cybersecurity as well as researching the conference topics.

Conference highlights

Amazing things happened at the conference. The day before the event, we got to Goa. We arrived at the hotel (Miramar) completely exhausted, ate dinner, and then went to bed. Before the conference, we had a full day to explore Goa, so we took full advantage of it. We had a great time exploring Miramar's beaches, streets, and shopping centers before the beach party, which was the highlight of the trip, took place. You did hear correctly, For us, it was unexpected. The Seaside team's incredible Baga Beach Party night, which was mind-blowing and packed with dance, food, and everything a person could desire in Goa, made us incredibly appreciative. I can honestly say that was the nicest party I had ever been to, but it wasn't the end; over the course of the next three days, we visited a tonne of other beach parties that we were completely unaware of.

I have already completed the keynotes, panels, and networking events that I was able to attend on the first day of the conference. I was quite pleased by the keynote speakers, who presented their insights and experience on a number of topics, spanning from cloud security to AI and machine learning. I also had the opportunity to network with other attendees, including professionals, students, and subject-matter experts, and I also had some interview experiences. The three days were incredible in terms of knowledge gained, connections made, swag, and fun. The bus driven by Urf Devendra Sinha is something I'll never forget (the Shayari moment).

My Learnings

Attending the conference was a personal growth experience for me. I learned so much about cybersecurity and gained new insights and perspectives that I can apply in my future career. I was also able to develop my skills and build my network, which I believe will be valuable for my future.

Going forward, I plan to explore cybersecurity and stay engaged with the latest developments in the field. I would also like to thank the scholarship program that made it possible for me to attend the conference. Without their support, I would not have had this amazing opportunity. Once more, a heartfelt thank you to Seaside's organizers for creating such an incredible experience. I am incredibly inspired by the mission of the organization and would love the opportunity to contribute as a volunteer or speaker. If I get the chance to take part in the initiative. I'm excited to impart my expertise and advance your cause!

In conclusion, attending the International Conference on Cybersecurity was a journey of learning and growth. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to continuing to explore the field and make a positive impact in the world of cybersecurity. It was truly an amazing experience filled with unforgettable moments. From the people I met to the things I learned, I will cherish the memories forever. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of something so special.

Don't miss this ๐Ÿ‘‡

If you are considering attending a similar conference, I highly recommend it. Just be sure to prepare well, take advantage of the opportunities to learn and network, and have fun! As a second-year student in 2022, I had the honor of going to three absolutely free and fully supported international conferences. I'm so appreciative that I was able to participate in this experience for free.
